The Heart Failure Group

Heart failure is one of the great “medical epidemics” of the 21st century. Improved medicines and lifestyle changes have been the principle mainstay for these chronically disabled people. New and extended surgical techniques have demonstrated short-term improvement and extended prognosis.

Research Focus:

• This group will define multi-disciplinary approaches to heart failure and explore emerging treatments, both pharmaceutical and surgical.
